The Henshaw Short Story Competition is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- All profits go towards books for schools.
- A short story on any subject up to 2,000 words.
Entry fee: £6 by PayPal or by cheque to Hobeck Books. Optional Critiques: a further £14. Free Critiques: for authors aged sixteen and under.
Prizes: 1st £200, 2nd £100, 3rd £50. Prize Winners: published on the Henshaw Press website and in the next anthology.
Deadline: 31st March 2026. Results announced by the end of April 2025.
