The Henshaw Press Short Story Competition is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Profits all go towards books for schools
- A short story on any subject up to 2,000 words
- Henshaw is open to anyone over 16 years of age
- Results: announced by the end of October 2026
Entry fee: £6 by PayPal or by cheque to Hobeck Books. Optional Critiques: a further £14 (total £20 for entry and critique)
Prizes: 1st £200, 2nd £100, 3rd £50
Deadline: 30th September 2026
