NAWE Flash Fiction Contest 2026 is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to writers worldwide
- 200-word entries.
- Theme: ‘Writing Worlds’
Judge: Karina Lickorish Quinn
Entry fee: Entry is free for registered conference participants; otherwise, £3
Prizes:
- The top three winners will be announced at the plenary session of the NAWE Online Conference 2026: Writing Worlds on Saturday 14 November.
- The three winning entries will be published in the 2026 Conference Special edition of the NAWE magazine, Writing in Education (publication January 2027).
- The first-place winner will also receive a copy of the 2027 Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook, generously donated by Bloomsbury, which is celebrating its 120th milestone edition.
