National Poetry Competition 2024

The Poetry Society’s major prize for new writing.

The National Poetry Competition is open to everyone over 18 worldwide.

Prizes:
– first prize:£5,000
-second prize: £2,000
-third prize: £1,000
-seven commendations: £200.

This year’s judges are John McAuliffe, Romalyn Ante and Stephen Sexton.

Deadline: midnight on 31 October 2024.
