The Ironclad Short Story Competition for Spring 2026 is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Stories must respond to the prompt ‘RESERVED’ in any way.
- Any length of story up to 6k words.
- Open to all ages.
- Multiple entries are allowed.
Judges:
Entry fee: £9.75 per story
Prizes:
- The first-place writer will be offered a prize of £100 and publication
- The second-place writer will be offered a prize of £50 and publication
- The third-place writer will be offered prizes of £25 and publication
Deadline: 31st January 2026, 23:59 GMT.
