The Henshaw Press Short Story Competition is open for submissions on 1st May, 2025.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to short stories on any subject up to 2,000 words.
- Open to anyone over 16 years of age.
- All entries must be the original work of the author and must not have been previously published.
- Limit of five stories from the same writer per competition.
Entry fee: £6 by PayPal or by cheque to Hobeck Books.
Optional Critiques: A further £14.
Prizes: 1st £200, 2nd £100, 3rd £50.
Deadline: 30th June, 2025.
