The Guernsey International Poetry Competition 2026 is open for submissions.
Submission Guidelines
- The competition is divided into three classes:
- Open, Channel Islands & Young Poet.
Judge: John Agard
Entry fee: £5 per poem, or 3 poems for £12, or free entry (ages 11-17)
Prizes:
- Open – a first prize of £1000
- Channel Islands – a first prize of £250
- Young Poet – a first prize of £250
Deadline: Entries for the competition must be submitted by 15 January 2026.
