BSSA is open for 2025 submissions.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to international entries.
- Entrants must be 16 years and above.
- Stories of up to 2,200 words on any theme or subject from published or unpublished writers.
Judges: Lucy Luck and Liv Bignold from C & W Literary Agency.
Entry fee: £9
Prizes:
- 1st £1200.
- 2nd £300.
- 3rd £100, a local prize voucher of £50 and the £100 Acorn Award for the best story by an unpublished writer.
Deadline: March 31st, 2025.
