This competition from the Bare Fiction magazine has three categories – short stories, poetry and flash fiction.
Send in short stories of up to 3,000 words, poetry of up to 40 lines and flash fiction of up to 500 words.
Prizes: £500, £200, £100. Four Highly Commended awards of £25 each.
All winners will be published in the Spring 2015 issue of Bare Fiction Magazine and on their website.

It closes on the 31st of October 2014. Entry fees are £5 for poetry, £6 for flash fiction, and £8 for a short story.
