The New Writers Novel Prize is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to entries from anywhere in the world from writers aged 18 or older.
- Entries may be any theme or subject up to a maximum of 500 words (excluding the title) and should be the opening 500 words (or fewer) of your novel/novella.
- Entries should be submitted through the form on the website HERE.
Entry fee: £12 (one entry), £22 (two entries), £31 (three entries)
Head Judge: Katja Kaine, award-winning author and The Novel Factory founder
Prizes:
- 1st: £1,000 + Lifetime Access to The Novel Factory (Version 3); 2nd: £300 + 12-month Standard Subscription to The Novel Factory; 3rd: £200 + 12-month Basic Subscription to The Novel Factory
- The three winning entries will be published on the NewWriters.org.uk website and in the next New Writers Anthology
Charity: 10% of the proceeds of the competition will be split between two UK-registered charities, First Story and The Funzi and Bodo Trust.
