Wenlock Olympian Society Short Story Competition 2026/27 opens on 7th September.
Submission Guidelines
- International entries are welcome, but stories must be written in English
- Open theme
- Accepting only works of fiction which must not exceed 2,500 words
- The Competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over
- Entrants may submit a maximum of three stories
Judge: Kate Innes
Entry fee: £6 for single, £11 for 2, £15 for 3
Prizes: First £150, Second £50, Third £25 plus Gold, Silver or Bronze Olympian Society medal
Deadline: Thursday 29th October 2026.
