The Cheltenham Poetry Competition 2026 is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to unpublished poems in the English language of no more than 50 lines.
- All entries for the Competition will, where eligible, be considered.
- Open theme.
Judge: Rosie Garland
Entry fee: £4 per poem or £10 for 3 poems or £15 for 5 poems
Prizes:
- 1st Prize: £300 and the opportunity to appear at the 2027 Cheltenham Poetry Festival (either online or in Cheltenham)
- 2nd Prize: £100
- 3rd Prize: £50
Deadline: Sunday 6 September 2026
