Writing Prompts

Instructions 1. Every Monday we will post a a photo or illustration. You are then invited to write a short story or poem (it can be as long or as short as you wish!) using the picture featured in the post as your inspiration. Feel free to take the photo to use for your post. 2. Link back to this page on your post. 3. Sign up in the Mr. Linky list, linking directly to your post, after you've posted. Please only enter links that lead to a story based on the picture below, or unfortunately we will have to delete it. If your link doesn't appear or if you need help with adding or fixing a link, don't hesitate to email me 4. We are now running monthly writing prompt competitions. Each competition will open on the first day of every month and close on the last day. Every entry posted as part of our weekly writing prompts will be eligible. The winner of our February competition will receive a copy of The Man Who Broke Into Auschwitz by Denis Avey. There is no cost to enter and you can post as many entries as you wish. The winner of our January competition will be announced shortly.
